Moving Blog #1: Choosing a Place

On Friday the family went to look at an apartment that's for rent. We have to leave at the beginning of October and that means looking for a new place that will make us feel safe and will allow me and my brother to be able to get to and from work. We really loved it and I'm glad that we found it. The first challenge will be to ensure that the landlady doesn't check out our rental history. We had only one default in rent and that was over twenty years ago.

I don't see that being a problem but one can worry. The next challenge, which really isn't a challenge, is coming up with the rest of the security deposit. Once that's done then the place is ours. The landlady will get people that won't have the police over and are quiet. Will update this coming Friday.

So this is a doing over of my blog that I've had up since January. I'm doing this because I really am thinking about how this blog will look and what it was looking in the past didn't work for me.
